Please read below instructions carefully as registration for this season will done through HCR for Royals and RAMP for Storm.

Important Registration Information:
*** Registration numbers will be limited in all divisions so early registration is crucial to ensure a place for your participant.***
Royals:
NEW PLAYERS and NEW RESIDENTS: Although there is no deadline for new players, we encourage you to register as soon as possible as spots will remain limited. A copy of your child's birth certificate and 2 pieces of proof of address will be required to upload to players HCR profile.
Royals Players who have successfully made AAA/AA are no longer required to register with their home Association. Any players who are returned after final Fall roster completion must register and pay before participating in any Royals Camps/Tryouts etc. Players who are participating in Fall Tryouts (U9 AA, U18 AAA/AA) must register with home Association and indication your intention in registration. Do NOT make payment until you know if your player will be playing with KDMHA. If your player is placed on AA/AAA team please notify Royals Registrar as soon as it is known.
Storm:
NEW PLAYERS and NEW RESIDENTS: New Storm Players for U9 and above for house level teams will be considered on a case by case basis and will be dependent on numbers registered.
Storm Players trying out for a competitive team in the fall with other Associations must still register with KDMHA by completing the online registration form and complete the online form to request permission to skate. If your child is placed on a competitive team with another association, please advise the Royals or Storm registrar as soon as it is known.
- Payment for Tryouts are required to be paid in full prior to attending regardless if player is trying out for another Association or comes from another Association.
- Registration and Payment (in Full) Due Date is July 31- after this date, a $150 late payment fee will apply.

- All Royals players must reside within the KDMHA boundary. To verify, please use the HEO Maps and Home Association Lookup Tool.
- Please give at least 48hrs turnaround time when requesting an OWHA Permission to Tryout form. If placed on another competitive team with another Association, please contact KDMHA Storm Registrar: stormregistrar@Kemptvillehockey.com as soon as it is known.
A player may only be released once per season- if your player is released, they are not able to return to KDMHA until the next season, at the earliest. No player releases will be processed without confirmation from the family. |

KDMHA has a mandatory fundraising fee of $80/player. The maximum per family is $160 for 2 players. The fundraising fee will automatically be added to each registration, families can choose to recieve lottery tickets to recoup these costs by opting into the lottery as per instructions below.
Fundraising Lottery
Families who wish to recover the cost of the fundraising fee can opt into the KDMHA Lottery during registration by selecting the “Lottery” option.
► If you select “Lottery”:
You will receive 8 lottery tickets per registered player (valued at $10 each, totaling $80).
Maximum of 16 tickets per family ($160 for two players).
You can sell the tickets to recover your cost (in accordance with the lottery license terms and conditions linked below) or write your own name on them for a chance to win.
► If you do NOT select “Lottery”:
This indicates that you are opting out of the lottery, and you will not receive tickets. The fundraising fee of $80 still applies.
KDMHA encourages all participants to support this initiative by selling or using their tickets.
TRYOUTS
Players must be registered and paid prior to start of Tryouts. Please select within registration. Please note players registering for U16 Royals Rep may not particpate in U18 Royals Rep if player has been released from U16 Rep Tryout.
$60 U9 and U11 Tryouts Royals & Storm (All Storm Tiers), Senior Storm Tryout
$150 U13 to U18 Royals Rep and Tier 1 Storm
$100 all other Storm Tiers
Conditioning Camps will be provided to all players participating in Fall Tryouts/Sorts. Previously made spring teams are excluded.
Convenors will send out dates, times and groups prior to Camps. For Storm camps: Ontario Women's Hockey states that camps can ONLY be offered to those players who are registered with Kemptville Storm. Any players who are not from our association CANNOT attend our camps, as it will be considered player tampering.
If your player is successful in placing on a REP/COMP team an additional registrations cost of $100 will be required at start of season. Team Manager will collect this and remit to KDMHA as one payment. Storm C Comp teams are excluded.
