KDMHA Families,

Registration for the 2022-23 season has now opened and you can find the registration details on the KDMHA website here.

In expectation of a normal hockey season next year, registration will follow the usual planning process.

Please note the upcoming dates and important details;

  • June 30 - Registration due for all returning players; $150 late registration fee will be applied to ALL returning player registrations after June 30, 2022

  • July 31 - Payment due date is July 31st - after this date a $150 late fee will apply. 

Storm or Royals players trying out for competitive teams with other associations must still register with KDMHA by completing the online registration form with KDMHA. Do NOT make a payment unless you know your child will be playing with KDMHA. If your child is placed on a competitive team with another association, please advise the Royals or Storm registrar as soon as it is known. 

  • May 14 9am - 12pm Kemptville Campus back of Parish Hall Equipment/Jersey Return - Team Head Coach/Manager please organize return of all Jerseys (on hangers, in numerical order and in their respective home and away garment bags) and have name tags removed (contact Nancy Watkins). A team designate is to return the jerseys and any borrowed goalie equipment on this date. If alternate arrangements are required please contact equipment@kemptvillehockey.com

  • Head Coach applications for Kemptville Royals Rep teams are now open: LINK. Applications are due May 15/22 with interviews to be scheduled by early June. 

  • Following the AGM on April 21st, there remains a need for volunteers at the board. If interested in learning more, please contact info@kemptvillehockey.com

Vacant Board Positions:

  • Referee in Chief - mentors, supports and supervises existing and new Officials, honorarium provided towards player registration
  • Royals U15 Convenor
  • Storm U18 Convenor

Officer Positions:

  • Referee Scheduler - this position schedules all KDMHA Officials for games, honorarium provided towards player registration
  • Coach Mentor - provides support and development for KDMHA coaches
  • Goalie Mentor - provides support and development for KDMHA goalies
  • Tournament Convenor - lead for 2 memorial tournaments held by KDMHA (Eric Gutknecht Memorial Tournament and Adam Harlow U7 Fun Day)
  • Media Officer - communication lead for website and social media posts
  • Administration Assistant - provides support to Treasurer and Registrars for data entry for payments and rosters and other administrative duties
  • Ice Convenor Assistant - KDMHA will be using this role to trial a Storm Ice Convenor under the KDMHA Ice Convenor and will be solely responsible for all Storm Ice
 
  • Anyone that is interested in volunteering (coach, assistant coach, manager, trainer, den mom etc.) must complete police screening every year. Please get this done early! If you completed a Vulnerable Sector Check last year, only a Criminal Record Check is required this year. You can find the forms and KDMHA letter here: LINK
