Fundraising
The KDMHA believes that everyone should have a chance to play hockey. We also realize that hockey is an expensive sport
and, as such, we endeavour to keep our fees as low as possible. However, rising ice and insurance costs keep pushing fees
upward. Through fundraising efforts we can keep fees at a reasonable level so that everyone can continue to play the game they love.

Organizing Special Events
If coaches or managers wish to organize a team fundraising event that involves team members they should fill-in and submit an event request form.
The form will extend the association's insurance to cover the event should anything happen. Forms should be submitted 72 hours prior to the
event so that they can be processed in a timely manner.
2010–2011 Calendar Lottery
This year as part of its fundraising effort, the KDMHA has started a calendar lottery. Each calendar ticket is $20 and
enters the purchaser into the draws for cash prizes. There will be 32 draws for $150, 4 draws for $500 and 2 draws for $600.
